What to Expect

The tour begins at approximately 10:00 and lasts the entire day. You’ll share the excursion with just 5 people.

Visit the train cemetery located in an area near Uyuni before heading to the Great Salt Lake, meeting the people of Colchani on the way. See an artisan salt processing plant and observe the manufacturing of local crafts.

Continue to the Eyes of the Salar waterhole and then to Incahuasi Island, where you’ll enjoy a 30-minute walk to see the famous giant cactus, and where you’ll be served lunch.

Later you’ll return to Uyuni and watch the sunset accompanied by a special toast at the world's largest salt lake.
