ITINERARY:

​

CUSCO – KILLARUMIYOC – TARAWASI – CHONTA – CONDOR CANYON – CUSCO. (08:00 – 20:00

You will leave Cusco in the morning at 8:00 am, taking the paved route from Cusco until Limatambo.

Trip continues off road towardschonta community 3,400 meter sea level. On the way to the Condor Canyon we will stop in 2 important and interesting Incas archaeological sites such as: Killarumiyoc and Tarawasi. These sites are very different to others Incas Complexes in Cusco or Sacred Valley.

QUILLARUMIYOC.- Temple of the moon and temple of the fertility. Where the Incas did a big ceremony for the girls in their  first menstruations. And ceremony for the Mother earth for good productions.

​

TARAWASI.- Inca's Temple and Tambo. Perfect Archeological Constructions with trapezoidal niches and polygonal walls. Margaritas flowers are wonderfully decorating the Incas constructions.

​

After visiting the 2 archaeological sites, You will be taken to enjoy the Peruvian buffet lunch, Later You continue your trip until Chonta village, from where we will begin to walk  1 hour aproxx. until the Condor Viewpoint (one way 3 kilometers).

​

The viewpoint of the condor is located on the right side of the Canyon of Apurimac River up of 3300 meter sea level, from where we will see the deepest canyon of South America and the home of the Andean Condor. Here you will appreciate too the majestic flight of the Andean condor, considered Sacred Bird of the Incas.
